The Couple Behind the Cheese

Our journey began in the time of national lockdown's & there not being an awful lot of anything to do...

Furloughed from our jobs in hospitality, boredom struck and so did the idea of creating a food orientated business. With my 14+ years experience in the industry, coupled with Soph's impending graduation from a degree in design, and our shared love for all things cheese & charcuterie, the idea quickly snowballed!

We started as an online operation before moving out of lockdown and into farmers markets & wholesale supply, where we quickly realised that this was no longer a hobby but actually a passion.

Fast forward a year & we've opened our first shop in the heart of Leeds city centre, in the iconic Corn Exchange building. A place where we feel lucky everyday to call 'home'.

This has been our journey so far, but we want to continue to celebrate British produce whilst making it an accessible and enjoyable experience for everyone. Our focus is on quality whilst not taking ourselves too seriously - as a small business looking to grow, we will always keep our customers at the heart of what we do.
